A very warm welcome to our 2013 Cruising Schedule

After all the excitement of 2012, we hope you will find a cruise here that is tailored just for you.

This season we shall be spending extra time on the beautiful Kennet and Avon canal (cruises 12 and 14), as well as exploring ‘down river’ to the Bristol Floating Harbour (cruise 13).

The exciting Peak Forest and Macclesfield canals again feature (cruise 5), as does the newly-reopened Droitwich canal (cruises 17 and 18).
The spectacular cruise to Llangollen is always a ‘must do’ route, and we’ll offer them this time in the spring (cruises 2 and 3) and autumn (cruises 20 and 21).

Due to overwhelming demand, we shall also be returning to the strikingly beautiful Caldon canal (cruise 6)

Owing to things Royal and Olympic, we had to give trips to Little Venice and the lower reaches of the River Thames a miss last year, but are greatly looking forward to cruising these majestic waters once again (cruise 9): the cruise up to Windsor (cruise 10) takes us past the Great Park, which can only be seen from a boat.

Many other firm favourites of our past cruises are contained in the schedule. There will be plenty of aqueducts, tunnels, boat lifts, locks - and above all, unspoilt countryside for those who love these things.

As we were ranked above Althorp House in the Sunday Times Top 100 UK attractions (sorry, Your Lordship), we hope that we have just the holiday for you this season.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about the routes or our holidays in general.

Notes for 2013 Cruises:

Travel Advice
The majority of our guests arrive and depart the boats by public transport (train or coach), whilst some are brought and collected by relatives or friends. Others come by car or taxi. Most of our start/finish points are chosen because they have good public transport - a nearby railway and/or coach station.

We will send you advice about travel when you book, and full joining instructions, including detailed maps of how to find the boats, nearer the time (generally when you pay the final balance for the cruise). If you arrive by train, you can usually pick up a taxi at the station and simply give the map to the taxi driver.

For most of our cruises, we can arrange car parking if requested in advance. Our travel information includes advice on using public transport to return to your car at the end of the cruise. Alternatively, we can help you to arrange return transport by taxi.

Included in the price
Full board accommodation, use of all facilities, a glass of wine with dinner, and VAT at our current ratings.

Not included in the price
Our prices do not include bar bills, admission prices to local attractions, transport to/from the boats and car parking.

There are no hidden extras and no supplements for single travellers occupying single cabins.

Guests who have travelled with us before will be eligible for a loyalty discount of 5% as will guests taking a second or subsequent cruise during the season.

Late booking
Normally, when you book, we require a deposit of 100 per person, but if you book less than eight weeks before the start of your chosen cruise, you must pay the full amount with your booking form. If you book less than 7 days ahead, please pay by credit card, or arrange with us to pay in cash on arrival.
